Introducing Wild Capital

Wild Capital is a Developer and Asset Manager of Natural Capital projects. Wild Capital was conceived in 2022, and closed its first institutional fund in April 2023.

The photo above is of the first acquisition in Fund I – a site in Wiltshire that was acquired in April 23. It will house a constructed wetland for Nutrient Neutrality (NN) credits in the Test Valley and a habitat bank for Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) within the Wiltshire Planning Authority.

Since April, Wild Capital has acquired land across the UK (for BNG and NN schemes) including a very significant BNG habitat bank within the M25.

The team behind Wild Capital

Collectively, the leadership team has spearheaded environmental legislation, restored natural habitat, managed billions in real assets, secured complex land consents, run complex finance teams, and scaled global businesses.

The team also works closely with several exceptional suppliers, consultants, and 3rd party managers.

What success have we achieved so far?
  • Secured financing sufficient to meet the national market opportunity.
  • Acquired BNG habitat banks across the UK from as far north as Yorkshire and as south as the New Forest.
  • Acquired and secured NN schemes, sufficient to provide nutrient mitigation for over 20,000 homes.
  • Launched our build-to-order service for high distinctiveness BNG habitats.
  • Launched BNG options that enable developers to secure future certainty with flexibility.
Who should contact us?

Get in touch if you are;

  • A developer who is unsure how to begin your BNG or NN and wants an honest and open conversation, or if you are scoping out your options
  • Local authorities wanting to prioritise nature recovery within their boundaries
  • Or a talented and hard-working person interested in regenerating nature.

We are confident that we can support you, and would love to hear from you.
